Our Mission: to sleep next to the Georgia Guidestones. What the hell are the guidestones you ask? As our waitress put it...Some say there's a satanic controversy about them stones. Also she informed us she wouldn't camp up there come hell or highwater. God I love the south.

Now for our wonderful photos, b/c I'm kind of tired (and busy at work) to really go into the history of the guidestones. But the cool thing about going up there was a gentleman who's hobby is astronomy...With a really cool telescope that you had to climb a small ladder to reach the view finder. So not only did I get to see the GuideStones of Granite, I saw the Moon, Juniper and it's four moons, Uranus, and oh there was another one I think or was that when we fell asleep and the guy packed up and went home. Oh well. It was neat beyond words I can really describe.
 The view in the morning
The view in the morning at night with the sun setting perfectly with the cut out to view the solstice
at night with the sun setting perfectly with the cut out to view the solstice the same view finder close up
the same view finder close up and so you can see where our lovely tent for our sleeping enjoyment. Now we didn't notice anything weird that night, but in the next couple days if you see me acting strange blame it on either the Stones or the Black Widow I found in my yard while weeding. :)
