So I got Phished on my other site...so stupid. As much as I run my anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-ad-ware, and such I got bored and wasn't paying attention.
So for the past couple days I've been running every diagnostic on every computer I've touched in the last week. Luckily that's only three.
Speaking of computers, I felt like a bad-ass hooking up the wireless in our house. I called the IT guy just because I couldn't remember that there is no space b/w ip and config when running cmd prompt. And we started talking all geeky, which made me hyper, and made Bryan look at me funny. What ever, he's now enjoying the benefits and our neighbors are probably happy that he's no longer stealing theirs.
Heheh, Phished…damn hippies.

Yup, you've got your geek on... I have to "steal" wireless at work - I don't even know the SSID of the office network, and the bleedin' router config site is password protected (and not with the default password, either).
PS: try what I did - switch to a Mac. I still run WinXP on it for the rare app that I can't get a Mac version for, but otherwise, I'm happy as a clam and wouldn't go back. It's just plain easier and more stable. And I know my 'puters - been using them for nearly three decades now, starting with the "Trash-80" Model I.
You know what, I don't like 'em. We used to have an apple long long time ago (great now Don McLean is in my head) and I didn't mind it then except for the green screen.
But these new ones? I just can't get on board.
Atually, they're all Unix-based now, and running the smae Intel chips as PCs - this MacBook as the Intel Core 2 Duo at 1.83 Ghz. You'd be surprised how easy it was to get Windows XP installed on a bootable partition - best of both worlds. It's just a huge relief spending more time using the damn thing than figuring out *how* to use the damn thing... And this crashed maybe once, recovering itelf rather swiftly, while the HP Media Center model I had was buggier than a sewer rat.
