Free Lectures When Not Enrolled in School are Fun

Ok, so I haven't posted any political thoughts, yet.

Yesterday I enjoyed a tour of the Academy of Medicine as well as attended a charming lecture by Dr. Martin Moran. He wrote Tincture of Time The Story of 150 Years of Medicine in Atlanta, which deals with the history of Medicine in Atlanta. I'm sure you can tell by the title of the book.

I found it highly interesting for two particular reasons, One: Bryan attends Emory, which is steeped in history Two: I just find it fascinating the local history of where one lives.

Also, I'm quite tickled pink that Henry W. Grady was a UGA graduate :)
