Well, I'm sure y'all heard the news by now. Kurt Vonnegut Jr. has passed away today. I feel like I missed out, I know his books are still around and always will be. Maybe it's guilt I'm feeling. On my bookshelf I have Slaughter House Five and Breakfast of Champions, two books that should be included in everyone's bookshelf staples. Well, I haven't read either one of them. Picked both of them up several different occasions, and set them back down when I got busy. Bad habit, I know.
So here we are today April 12, 2007 and another literature legend has passed. Goodbye Mr. Vonnegut and thank you.
