So I've been house sitting for my folks this week. Their cat hates me, probably b/c Mollie (my dog) ate her food. She was sitting next to the couch the first night, the second night she was across the room, and then the dog ate her food now she's under my parent's bed and refuses to come out.

So, I've been spending this week putting together packets for 9 different school systems. I have everything complete except for my teaching statement. I've written the damn thing several times, but just can't get it right. Does someone want to do my "homework" for me?

Also, it's been nice to be in a neighborhood where I can leave the doors unlock and neighbors leave their stuff out and NO ONE steals it! I love the diversity and eclecticness of my neighborhood, but I can't wait until it gets to the point of not having to chain down items. (seriously, people have to chain down their potted plants on their porch!)

I've also been working with my neighborhood putting together an ice cream social for 100 people I'll be hosting at my home. Going to try to get back early early Sat. So i can clean, mow, and set up for the party. Yeah Ice Cream!
