So my ovaries and my birth control are on a all out war, and my uterus is suffering a major causality in this endeavor.
I've never been good on birth control. minus the craziness it makes a woman/girl/whatever. I've actually been placed in the hospital due to the constant push of estrogen placed in my body. Granted, that particular time, I was on the birth control patch. Where it's a constant uncontrolled release of birth control.
My doctor and I have tried several different types, with the end result being the same: me in pain and throwing away the birth control pills...then walla I'm better.
We have run through so many tests and gone to so many doctors. I've been diagnosed with Chron's disease to Endometriosis. No one knows, and no one doctor can agree. I've even had a doctor throw in IBS for the hell of it. Um, IBS? really? just admit at that point that you don't know and move on.
So, here I am, after a, hmmm....4? 5? year hiatuses from birth control, ready to try again. this time my doctor and I decided on FemCon Fe. Which is a low dosage of estrogen and added iron (you know for border line anaemic like myself).
I'm supposed to chew the tablets instead of swallow them whole. Well, i guess since I'm having major cramps and pain a week before I'm supposed to be on my period is a signal that chewing vs. swallowing doesn't matter.
But, all this is a better alternative to having to deal with Plan B.

Lol... I have about 60 poker and sports-related blogs in my reader, and this is why I keep coming back! PRECISELY for topics like this so I can acquire a broad perspective (pun intended, haha ZING!)
...sorry, there's nothing funny about birth control hassles. Just don't do what I do, "Vatican Roulette" only has to be wrong once!
haha thanks! glad to know my woes are at least entertaining :D
Well, many people don't talk about birth control and the bad parts about it. Course, as I sit here with a heating pad and close shot to the bathroom (oh did I leave out the diarrhea part in my original blog post :) )
