I really need to get a teaching job, and soon.

I just finished yesterday my last day of student teaching. I'm surprised I did not cry. The students baked me a cake and made me homemade cards. Even from students i never thought in a million years would show any kind emotions toward any teacher gave me a sweet card.

Just think I've only been with these students for 3 months, and I was able to get to know these students so well. I can only imagine how well I will get to know students and make a difference in their lives for an entire year.

my teacher told me that she keeps a folder labeled "why I teach" and keeps cards from students. I think I'm going to start a folder myself.

Now it's off to pack for my cruise vacation!
