Eyes are now focused on Michigan.
Romney is basing his campaign on his father: "George Romney, the former head of American Motors and a three-term governor of Michigan during the 1960s" (MyWay Jan 14, 2008)
hmmm.....I says.
McCain maybe able to win Michigan again, 8 years later. He won New Hampshire, and the Independents are showing more support for McCain than Romney. Even though they are neck in neck in the polls.
This will be tough for these two guys, b/c one has family & political roots in Michigan and the other already won the state in previous primaries.
As for the Democrats, only Clinton is standing out. I'm not seeing any last minute speeches, or campaign reach out...from any of the Dems. Even on mlive.com tagline: Everything Michigan.
so let's see how today rolls out.
