Went and saw Charlie Wilson's War. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, need to go back and look up some of the minor details to see how much is accurate. If you don't like politics nor history...well, this is not the movie for you. The action is in the conversations and behind the scenes talking while distractions are happening in the forefront. They simulated how this occurs in actuality on the hill.
I was super excited to recognize the Madame X painting that was reproduced with Julia Roberts head. I wanted to grab someone in the theater and tell them while jumping up and down, but the moment had passed. There is a fascinating book, I am Madame X, telling all about this painting and the woman posed. Even if you don't enjoy history, this book gives fascinating details about French aristocrats and scandalous plots.
I still need to finish my paper. I have the outline and rough ideas written out, I just need to make it fluid. My Initial Philosophy of Teaching. Forces me to think, while scaring the shit out of me.
I'm serious about aiming to be top of my class. Since my only job at the moment is going to school. This will be a first of no other distractions. I have always been balls to the wall while in school, working (a lot of times 2 jobs), socializing, and studying. Now, it's just school. The socializing has kept it only to my friends.
I don't even have time to date, really. Let me add....I don't want to date. Not the time nor mental/healthy place for me to date, let alone trying to fit in a time to go out on a date. All my classes are night classes, and the weekends are given to my friends.
