I've been saying this, and, well, haven't done anything. And, well, 30 years old has proven that my metabolism has quit working.
I just found out the scale I've been using every time I visit my mom is broken and tells a lighter weight than I really am. Great.
So, I keep signing up for the Self Challenge (Self magazine). So, in order to keep up this blog and lose weight, I'm going to track and document my progress. Self states I can lose one size in one month. So let's try it!

waist: 37 inches
hips: 39 inches
thighs: 23 inches
Today's Tip: Keep a food journal
Breakfast: 6 cups of coffee with sugar
Lunch: left over spaghetti
Snack: 8oz slim-fast shake made with milk and ice
Dinner: skinless boneless chicken breast, canned corn
Snack: bagel and cream cheese

I've been keeping track of my stuff with folks over at Nerd Fitness. A 28 day challenge competition starts today. Having a community doing the same thing does really help.
