Ok, so I took a break

Ok, so I did great for a week and then took a week off. I was a little distracted though with scrubbing down the house getting ready for family coming to town. ....and....celebrating the fact that I graduated with a Masters. Wahoo!

Did you know that cleaning burns calories? But, playing video games does not.

Today was a fresh start (yesterday was a day to eat a smorgesboard of snacky leftovers). Went the the pool for an hour. Swam laps and ab workout for 30 minutes and the laid out in the sun reading for the other 30 minutes. I'm going to try and complete this task everyday for the remainder of the month...remember the last Self tip I posted was feel the burn in the gym daily.

Today's tip: Surrender Sweets

cut out all added sugar and sugar like substances. Including sodas. This one maybe a little hard, considering I have a crap load of left over soda from my party. I feel it will be ok, b/c I am not a soda drinker normally. Seriously the only "soda" intake is an occasional redbull.

BUT, i do, however, have to take away sugar in my coffee. Time to switch back to soycreamer.
