I guess weekends still count

So, yesterday didn't do so hot with the veggies.

Probably, because I didn't leave the house to go to that awesome produce stand. But, when I ordered Chinese, I made sure I got the Chicken and Eggplant in a black bean sauce.

The soups and only part of my dinner portion kept me around 600 calories for dinner. considering I didn't have breakfast (growing trend here) and ate lunch...I stayed under 1500 for the day.

not bad, considering I was apparently consuming around 2000 without realizing it.

So...today's tip: indulge in 150 calories of junk food, or some guilty pleasure food item. I need to figure out how to make my shakes around 150, maybe by using fruit juice instead of milk?

Skinny cow ice cream sandwiches are 150 per sandwich, which makes me happy.

It's going to be interesting to keep tally for the weekend. Everyone always tends to over do it on the weekends. Tonight, mine will be done with beer. Going to a friend's graduation celebration tonight. And, well, there's a reason they call it a beer belly.

Well, for the first week, not so bad on trying to just kind of calculate how I eat. That's the most important step for weight loss, realizing what you are consuming.

next week I'm going to add on exercise. Because, my eating habits are great IF I exercise 3 times a week. It's pool weather and swimming laps is a great way to exercise, especially when I hate running.
