A day in the life of a beach dog.

The weather is finally nice enough to enjoy that I have a beach for a backyard.  I went last weekend with the hubby and then again this weekend with my Ah friend here.

Last weekend it was overcast, so I didn't put on any sunscreen.  Bad idea.
This weekend, super sunny, and I loaded up on sunscreen.  Still bad idea to only use 15spf.

The dog def enjoyed the time hanging out on the beach.  Even though she slept most of the day.  Silly dog.  I was worried about her last night, though.  I kept trying to google to see if dogs can get sun poisoning.  I made sure that we went in the water every 1/2 hour to get deep enough for her to get fully wet.  It is still a worry though.  No matter how much water she drank, she still was super hot.

I am kinda sad that I have not been taking advantage of the beach for a backyard these last 10 months.  Even though the weather sucked and was cold, I still should have at least taken a daily walk on the shore.   This and next month, I pretty much will be living at the beach.....Except for today....really need to let my skin relax after being burned.
