I don't know what to take with me to Europe. We will be hopping around Germany, Austria, and France for 17 days. I don't know what to wear. I've been buying really cute stuff that I could take, but I'm really at a loss.
I always over pack, because I never know what kind of outfit mood I will be in during the trip. This is our Honeymoon, so I want to maintain a carefree sexual attitude the whole trip. Hence the confusion of what to wear.
I consulted the internet gods and got contrasting responses. One is the Rick Steves route. He is a good person to refer when speaking about "what to do and see" at a place, but fashion......
Then there are these blogs written by trust fund brats who are going from 5 start hotel with people carrying their luggage for them.
I need to find those blogs that have taken on the 6 items challenge. What is the 6 items challenge you ask? It is where you have to choose 6 items of clothing and only wear those 6 items for the duration of a month. 30 days consisting of 6 pieces of clothing.
My thinking is to raid their blogs, look at their photos, and snag their looks by only packing 6 items. Maybe 7. maybe 8. If they can do it for a whole month, then half a month would be a breeze, right?

pretty dress leg
I have a tummy ache. Guess that's what happens when I eat too much cookie dough.
So I bought this dress thinking I was SO gonna wear it to the reunion, but alas, I got another one today that will be worn instead. I did however find a clutch to match the shoes. So shoes, clutch, bracelets, and new dress....I'm ready Wohoo!
i've also decided I will be taking the marta, ooohhhh, exciting. It's going to finally feel like I live in the city by walking to the subway station, hoping a train, going to a fancy club, drinking, taking the subway home in a trendy dress I bought at a boutique. Look at me! I said Look at Me!
So funny, funny at work. I need to snap a photo then I can post here, b/c picture is worth more than I can measly type.

But, instead I am sitting on my couch eating really greasy bacon and left over carmel nut cookies. yeah Christmas Parties, and yeah getting dressy for them too.

Lazy Sunday
This morning is such a beautiful day. I think I'll run around my city and try not to get in the car once. I'm sitting on my porch this moment with my dog, coffee, laptop, and my smokes. There is just something so relaxing about this simple task.
So, I'm loving my hair more and more. I think I'll go back the same stylist. I've always had bad luck. My brother turned me onto getting my hair done, instead of dying and cutting it at home...about 3 years ago. Since then I've tried to find a good stylist. I went to a couple and two of them were no longer at the salons when I would go back for a touch up. This time though...I met Robin Stiles at good ol Fado. She hooked me up with one of her stylists, and I think this time it'll last.
There are a couple of things that should be constant in a girl's life. Family, pets (four legged babies), a couple of friends who will be willing to be around long enough to haul around your oxygen tank in the nursing home, and a good hair stylists.
A few things that come and go that make a girl's life memorable, but shouldn't be sad for changing...great apartments, guys, weight, that awesome hot outfit, and drinking tolerance.
