Memorial Day Weekend

I spent this weekend with my bestie in the whole wide world.  I am finally glad that someone (besides family) has come to visit me.  Of course, I sent her back to Atlanta with a trunk full of stuff to move me home.

It wound up being a relaxing weekend that included murdering a dozen crabs.  Well, only 11 were killed, there is 1 survivor roaming around somewhere....could be in my fridge, could be in MeMou's car, could have never made it into the box?  Who knows, but if there is a weird smell (other than my kitchen sink), I will know where that lonely crab went.

The crown at the beach was super busy.  I had to make sure we kept the dogs on their leashes.  I was way uncomfortable letting Miss Mollie off her leash because I can't afford $100 fine b/c some ass-wipe tourist complained. I did take her off leash when we were in the water.  My brilliant come back if some one said anything: "You put a leash on your kid and throw them into the rip tide."  HeeHee

Today I'm contemplating on going out again.  I might just take a towel and Mollie down for a little bit, but my butt is still red from yesterday's burn.  I might just wait until after work tomorrow.  Hopefully, everyone has left by then.

So my friend's call me up to go ice skating. sure! Ice Skating, I haven't done that in years. Don't get me wrong with the sarcastic tone, I actually had a blast for the twenty minutes we were there. As soon as we hit the ice, one of the guy's in our group hit his face on the ice. Busted open his chin and off to the ER we go.

2 hours later...yep only 2 hours for 8 stitches, we were out the door and headed to the bar. Ah, we should go ice skating more often. But, no injuries.

Sleepy time, but I just wanted to mention how much my girls are the shit.

Good housewarming tonight. The McGees and some new good friends came over tonight to warm my new place with their good vibes. I am so happy that my Ginny came down from Charleston to make her presence known. I love her and my other girls to death. And tonight! All the girls were together for the first time in over a year!
