i swear, one of these days I will be living in normalcy. Right now it is still boxes piled high in half the rooms. At least we have got all the furniture where we want. Now, it is just all the extra little stuff that I still can't believe I was able to have stored and organized in a 600 sq ft. place....and a barely 400 sq ft before that!

ha! I just realized I wrote normalcy. My mind is still always half thinking about teaching, which is good.

A little history lesson on the word "normalcy". The word that is supposed to be used is normality. But, our good 29th president Warren G. coined normalcy during the 1920 election.

Warren G. came into office as Woodrow Wilson brought our boys back home after whooping those Germans. Except, our country was devastated and thousands upon thousands of those boys were dieing from the Spanish Influenza Epidemic. So Warren G. saw this country needed to get back to life before the "Great War" and ran with the slogan "Return to Normalcy"

Whelp, now it's in our dictionaries and spell checkers. Just in case y'all were wondering
