I keep feeling like I keep getting the crap end of the stick. For three years now I have been working very hard to get my life on track. I finally found a career that I absolutely love and want to do so bad. I will make such an impact on our world by being a teacher.

I feel like I wasted my summer trying to pimp myself out to schools. Only come to find out that my school did not do their end of the paperwork for me to get my certificate. My cert is currently on HOLD. why? because they are waiting for documentation in which i gave my school back in APRIL.

I really sincerely believe this is the reason i have not been called about an interview for a teaching position. Why would a school want to choose me with a HOLD on their certificates while another teacher already has theirs. Doesn't matter if I have a higher degree and better grades than that other teacher...they HAVE their cert and I DON'T.

Man, I could have used my summer better, i.e. going down to the Gulf and volunteering my time cleaning up the oil. Going to Africa and volunteering my time teaching consequential victims of civil war. WOW
